Vans Old Skool Pro Shoes
Gearing up for some 21st century skating, the celebrated Vans Old Skool silhouette has been updated with some innovative perks, with this particular edition featuring in a solid black and white colour combination. Keeping the aesthetic true to its predecessor, suede houses the upper with overlays of canvas in place for good measure, offering flexibility and comfort. Engineered features added to make the Old Skool Pro skate better include the UltraCush HD sockliner which works to keep your foot closer to the board, without sacrificing any impact protection, DURACAP reinforced uppers, which is an extra layer added to areas prone to wear, single-wrap foxing tape and finished off with the original waffle sole offering the tried and tested grip. Keeping a minimal aesthetic on display, white stitching accents this black colourway, accompanied by a crisp leather side stripe, Vans’ flag label and crimson ‘Off The Wall’ heel tabs on the reverse.
Originally billed as the Vans #36, the Old Skool debuted in 1977. Dropping as the first skate shoe that incorporated leather panels into the design for increased durability, the now unmistakable side stripe was then referred to as the ‘jazz stripe’. Skated and loved throughout the decades since, the Vans Old Skool pro is a must cop.
